例句：He got the job because he was the best candidate.

【句型点拨】：because是引导原因状语从句最常用的连词，它用以说明致使某事发生的直接原因，表示新信息，即一种未知原因，有很强的因果关系，语气最强，从句常放在主句后；在回答以疑问词why引导的疑问句时或用于强调结构“it is because....that”之类的结构中，只可用because; because也可与just, merely, simply等连用以加强语气；说明某事不是引起另一件事的原因，可在because前加not，但人们常把not放在主句里，与because分离。
